Adulthood can be pretty difficult if the childhood traumas are not handled effectively and timely therapy is not provided to the individual. This can then be seen as anger, unresponsiveness, anxiety, emotional outbursts, depression, panic attacks.
Adulthood also has its own share of Psychological issues due to stigma and discrimination. This can be Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Schizophrenia, Eating Disorders, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and many more.
Adolescent ages are very commonly known as a period of stress and strain. The individuals are neither children nor adults and this creates a lot of confusion in their minds as their behavior depends on various situations…..commonly used phrases being…..you don’t know anything, you’re still a child, and the other being…..stop behaving like a child, you’re grown up now.
This is the age when perception of self undergoes a lot of changes and it is important for the child to feel good about self as this will boost confidence and help them grow.
Mental health problems are common among seniors and may include isolation, anxiety disorders, dementia and psychosis amongst others. They may suffer from sleep and behavioral disorders, cognitive deterioration and confusion. This can be caused as a result of physical disorders or surgical interventions.
